The charm of the downtown of my youth has been completely destroyed. A family member who had to move due after being transferred by his employer, recently visited our cherished city and was instantly saddened by what he had seen.
Change is inevitable but progress doesn't have erase our past it should enhance it.
I had fond memories of street dances in our little downtown during the sound of music. Now I feel like we are building a little Toronto.
