SCHREIBER — OPP have safely resolved the incident involving a barricaded individual in Terrace Bay.
Officers responded to a report of an allegedly armed individual who had barricaded themselves inside a residence at around 1:20 a.m. on Sunday.
The individual has since been taken into custody without incident at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The police have confirmed that everyone involved is safe and there is no ongoing threat to the public or the Terrace Bay community.
The OPP said it extends its gratitude to the public for their cooperation and patience during the incident.
It added that the public's support allowed them to focus on resolving the situation as safely and efficiently as possible.
