It is with heavy hearts that we announce that on Monday, September 9, Teresa Elizabeth Roberts had passed away. She was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario on October 4, 1958 and moved to Nanaimo, British Columbia in 1994 where she would go on to live the rest of her life.

She was a sweet, wholesome woman with a kind soul, who found pleasure in the simpler things in life. She was incredibly creative and always seemed to have a project of some kind on the go. She loved to write and had published a small number of books, but her dream was to make games for children to play.

Teresa will be sorely missed by those who knew her, and her influence of kindness and creativity will live on through her daughter and her grandchildren, who she loved dearly. She is predeceased by her father, Arthur Roberts, and is survived by her daughter Shannon Tatler and son in law Tyson Tatler, her grandchildren Luther and Jack Tatler, her mother Agatha Bennett, her sisters Kathy Roberts, Karen Bennett, and Candy Goebel, and her brothers Charlie and Brian Roberts.

We would like to thank the staff at Dufferin Place for the time and respect they gave to Teresa while she was a resident under their care. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
