It is with heavy hearts the family of Ron Tienhaara announce his passing on September 8, 2023 at the age of 85. Dearly loved and adored by Bev for over 63 years. A loving Dad to Susan (Scott Blanchette) and his devoted son Barry (Christy). Papa was so proud of his Grandchildren, Lauren and Brennan (Robyn Roy-Holm). We will all miss him deeply. He loved his frequent visits with Louie which would brighten up his day.
Ron will always be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Martha Hazlett, Lori Husiak, nieces and nephews in Burlington, Winnipeg, Oshawa and Thunder Bay, along with many dear friends and family.
Bev would like to thank the Doctors and staff at Hogarth Riverview Manor for his care and their kindness.
Donations in Ron’s memory can be made to Hilldale Lutheran Church, Lutheran Community Care Centre or a charity of your choice.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at Hilldale Lutheran Church on October 3, at 11:30 am, following a private interment at Riverside Cemetery.
