Luba LeMarbre, age 88 years, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023 with her family by her side.
She was born April 22, 1935. Luba grew up in Westfort with her parents Anna and Nicholas Buchowsky. She had five siblings: Irene, Harold, Vera, Nadine and Annette. Luba attended Heath Park School and Fort William Collegiate, where she was involved in many sports which continued throughout her life. Luba was an Honourary Life member of the Chapple’s Ladies Club and a Lifetime member of the Ortona Legion Ladies Auxillary. Luba worked as a hairdresser at Annett’s House of Flair and then finished her career at First Choice Salon.
Luba is survivied by husband Lorne; children: Brian (Debbie) Bragnalo, Gary (Linda) Bragnalo, Cindy (Ray) Lavigne and Mark Bragnalo. Grandchildren: Callen, Cory, Stacey and Daniel; great-grandchildren: Brandon, Tyler Jr, Caleb, Charlie Lynn, Giorgio, Luca and Joey Jr.
Luba was predeceased by her parents Anna and Nicholas Buchowsky; siblings: Irene, Harold, Vera and granddaughter Carly Bragnalo.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on November 21, 2023 from 1-4pm at the Slovak Legion.
