Lawrence (Larry) John William Hebert (19 June 1947) passed away peacefully at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital on Saturday October 26, 2024, with family members by his side.
Larry was born in Fort William, Ontario and dedicated most of his time to volunteering to various organizations around Thunder Bay and best known for his various roles in the local sports scene including bringing the World Junior Baseball Championship and U18 Baseball World Cup to Thunder Bay and revitalizing Lakehead University’s Men’s Hockey program.
The family would like to thank the ICU and 3rd Floor surgical staff at the TBRHSC for the compassion and care provided to Larry in his final days.
A private interment will take place.
