With shattered hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin James Johnson, treasured husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin on November 16, 2023. Kevin was an outstanding partner to Kathy for 52+ years. He was a loving, proud father to his amazing sons, Jeffrey and Jared and his awesome daughters-in-law Carolyn and Lisa. He was an especially proud Pops to his precious grandchildren Cora (Coradorable) and Brody. Kevin was dearly loved by his Mom, Eunice, his brothers and best friend, Keith and Doug (Jo-Anne), as well as by his extended Youmans family, especially his mother-in law, Arlene. His fur babies, Kobe and Ally, gave him lots of daily cuddles. He was predeceased by his father, Art, father-in-law, Hilton and brother-in-law, Bob, each of whom he admired immensely.
In the past 6 years, life could not have been crueler to such a kind, gentle soul who faced all the hurdles his many cancers posed with such valiance and bravado. Our deepest gratitude goes to the cancer team headed by Dr. Faghih, RN Corina. We could not have gotten through this arduous journey without you and your personalized dedication. A giant hug from all of us to Kevin’s RN, Kathleen. You were truly our saint who went above and beyond the call of duty.
We are overwhelmed by all our family, friends, neighbours and co-workers for the food, flowers, love and support. Thank you.
