It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. June Ellen Gordon (nee Ross), age 78 years, suddenly at home on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
June was born in O'Connor Township on December 4, 1946 to Neil and Margaret (nee Alderdice) Ross. She worked as a Professional Cleaner for many years, both privately and commercially. June was always willing to help anyone in need and enjoyed going out with her friends.
June will be deeply missed by her son Doug (Dee); grandchildren Mathew and Amanda, and close friends; sister Shirley (Gordon) Peel as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; step-father William “Bill” Graham; son Kenneth; sister Mary (Gerry) Lenton and brother George Ross.
In keeping with June's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025 with a come and go reception taking place from 1:00-3:00pm in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
Should friends so desire, donations made in her memory to the Shriners Hospitals would be greatly appreciated.
