Joan, aged 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Nipigon District Memorial Hospital.
Loving wife of Marshall and mother of Cheryl Rudd and Cynthia (Todd) Dalgleish. Grandmother to Haley and Meghan Dalgleish. Survived by siblings Myrna Holtzman of Calgary, Thelma Grenier (Gabe) of Thunder Bay, and Wayne (Carol) Holtzman of Calgary. Survived by niece Tammy, nephews Adam, Robert, and Dennis. Predeceased by parents Andy and Theresia Holtzman of Hurkett, Ontario.
For many years Joan was owner and operator of the 4-Way Variety in Nipigon. She loved company and was always ready to tease her friends for a laugh.
Celebration of life to be held at a later date. If desired donations in her memory can be made to Nipigon District Memorial Hospital or the Cancer Centre at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
