With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jim Bunney, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on Saint Patrick's Day in the early hours of the morning, surrounded by the love of his family. Jim was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and his journey led him through the vibrant city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he pursued his education with a passion for learning and growth.

After returning to his hometown, Jim married his beloved wife, Margaret, and together they embarked on a beautiful adventure, moving to the coast where they lovingly raised their family. Jim's legacy continues through his son, David, his daughter, Janice, son-in-law Brad, and his cherished grandson, Jon.

Retiring in the picturesque town of Kelowna, Jim found joy in the simple pleasures of life: spending time with friends, enjoying a round of golf, and dedicating over a decade of his life to volunteering at the Parkinson Center. His generous spirit and unwavering kindness touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Jim was a true people person, radiating warmth and sincerity, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

In his last days, Jim was surrounded by the abundant love of friends and family, a testament to the countless lives he enriched with his presence. His laughter, compassion, and unwavering faith will forever remain in our hearts. Though he has departed from this earthly realm, we take comfort in knowing he is now in the embrace of his Lord and Savior.
