Gerry, as many knew her, found peace on Thursday March 20th, 2025 wrapped in the arms of her daughter, Sabrina, at St. Joseph's Hospice. There was no pain nor did she miss her afternoon tea and an ice-cream.

Beloved partner of Bill Mason. Loving mother of Jason (predeceased) and Sabrina (Leo). Doting grandmother to Jake, Kate, Sydney, Georgina, Abigail and Stephanie. Amazing Aunt to Jeffrey, Scott and Robbin. Sharon, Brian and Ken have lost their big sister. You are missed more than words can say, and your spirit will always be a part of our lives.

For over 26 years, Gerry continued mothering and caring for others while providing foster care. She chose to love many children through those years and a few have stayed close. They too will feel this tremendous loss. She was loved so deeply.

In service she found her calling and answered each and every time. Whether family, church, friend or stranger they found comfort assurance and guidance. Her quiet wisdom was sprinkled with laughter and a quick wit that put everyone at ease

Thank you to the medical staff and students at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation and the Nurses at the St. Joseph’s Care Group. Thank you to Asheley Wilson and Steve Pollock, for their unwavering support.

Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Geraldine Wilde will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 2:00pm in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment will take place at a later date in Sudbury, Ontario, where she will be laid to rest with her parents.

Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Geraldine to The Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
