It is with sadness that we announce the passing of David John Van Hatten on Oct. 30, 2024, at the age of 69. David was born in Fort William, Ontario to Edward and Gladys (nee Blacklock) Van Hatten.
David grew up in Westfort and attended St. Elizabeth Elementary School and Selkirk High School. After graduation, he was hired by Saskatchewan Wheat Pool as a millwright and spent his entire career there.
David was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Gladys Van Hatten.
He is survived by his brothers Edward, and Tom (Barbara), sister Shelley (Ron), brother Michael and numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with David's wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Association or a charity of your choice.
