Daniel Azaria Gale, age 53, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, after a courageous battle with multiple illnesses. Born on December 24, 1970, in Kajo-Keji, South Sudan, he was the son of the late Azaria Logworong and Tabita Guo.

Daniel graduated from St. Augustine High School in Khartoum, Sudan. Until his death, he has been studying at the Confederation College in Thunder Bay. Before continuing with his education, he worked at Saputo in Edmonton, Alberta, and Lakeside Packers in Brooks, Alberta.

Daniel was a beloved father, brother, cousin, uncle, cherished friend, and respected member of the Kuku Community for Development in Ontario. Daniel leaves behind two sons, three sisters, a brother, along with a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers.

Daniel lived a full and meaningful life dedicated to family, community, or others. Daniel will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humour.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 13, 2025 at the St Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church, with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow after the service at Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kuku Community Association for Development (KCAD) in Daniel's honour, where he was the vice chairman. Online condolences may be expressed at www.sargentandson.com.

Daniel will forever be missed, but his spirit lives on in all who knew him.
