Cliff passed peacefully in his sleep, at St. Joesph’s Care Group, Thunder Bay, with his beloved wife of 68 years, Joan by his side on February 11, 2024.

Born in Cobalt, ON, Cliff worked hard all his life, retiring at age 55 to Thunder Bay, after more than 30 years with TransCanada Pipeline. He was an avid collector, curler, golfer and hockey fan. Cliff led an adventurous retired life traveling to warmer climates. Maui was his favourite - especially the ice cream shoppe. Cliff was a self taught handyman. Joan always joked that she could never get anything new because Cliff could always fix it! His positive outlook and smile will be with us always. He was one in a million!

Predeceased by his and Joan’s son Dale and son-in-law Mike Bunda.

He is survived by daughters Lori and Tracy (Kim Miller), grandsons Mitchell Bunda (Tatiana) and Kael Bunda (Jennifer), granddaughters Shavonn DeBoer (Peter), Layla Miller (Ming Tse) and adoring great-granddaughter Grace DeBoer.

Cliff is survived by his brother Guy (Margie), nieces Shelley and Cindy and their families of Killarney, ON and in-laws, Colleen Dean (Arnie) of Westbank, BC and Nelda Markham (Mike) and nieces Victoria and Kathryn and their families of Eganville, ON. Fondly remembered by special friends Lise and Bobbie Koroscil of Geraldton, ON and their daughters, Shannon & Sharlene (whom he was lovingly known as papere to).

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date.
