Carey’s family is deeply saddened by her unexpected passing. Carey leaves behind her partner, Kristian, her parents, Sharon (Kathy) and Ken Switzer, her sister, Tanya (Troy), whom she loved so much. Her nieces, Hailey and Lexi, who she cherished. She leaves behind her Uncle Roy (Shirley), Aunt Sue (Frank), Aunt Jane (Steve), her cousins, Jason, John, Sherri, and Jordan. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Vi and Roy Switzer and Emily and Pete Yakimovich. Carey graduated from Dryden High School where shortly after, she moved to Thunder Bay to further her education. She enrolled in Confederation College, where she graduated from the Travel and Tourism course. When she was thirty, she decided to go back to college and got her degree in Massage Therapy. She worked so hard to receive her certification. She loved her work.
Carey was a kind and soft-spoken person. Carey loved buying Christmas presents for Hailey and Lexi. She always knew what to buy for that special gift. She put a lot of thought into it. She loved her cat and left her door open to all the cats that didn’t have a home until she couldn’t do it anymore. She took up painting later in her life and was a gifted artist. She loved to cook and was always trying new recipes. She loved going out to Kristians in the country because it was so peaceful there.
Carey struggled with her Demons most of her life. But they overcame her. You will be sadly missed baby girl.
