It is with great sadness that we regretfully announce that Brent passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. Brent was born on July 17, 1974 to Louise and Garry Sitch and big brother Greg.
He was raised and educated in Thunder Bay and attended Westgate CVI. He was employed as a janitor at the Thunder Bay Casino for 20-plus years. Brent met the love of his life Sherri and married her on July 5, 2012. They spent many happy years together fishing and camping. Brent and Sherri did everything together from biking with their cat in a pack sack and hiking through the bush with their dogs.
Survived by wife Sherri, 3 stepsons Raymond, Ronnie and Tyler. Also, brother Greg, nephew Tyler and niece Sarah. He also leaves behind his best friend Mike Lane and “sis” Michelle.
Brent was predeceased by his parents Garry and Louise Sitch.
Thank you to the cancer and palliative team at the TBRHSC for all the care and compassion for Brent.
There will be a Celebration of Brent’s Life at the Vickers Heights Community Centre on October 28, 2024 from 1-3pm with Chris Fiorito officiating.
