THUNDER BAY — Three youths were taken to hospital on the weekend after a boating accident on Loon Lake.
An OPP spokesperson said two of the children sustained major injuries in the incident which occurred Saturday evening at about 7:30.
The third youth suffered minor injuries.
One of the accident victims was taken to hospital in Thunder Bay by Ornge air ambulance, while the others were transferred by Superior North EMS paramedics.
In a brief statement Monday morning, an OPP spokesperson said this remains an ongoing investigation, and that no further details are being released at this time.
