HORNEPAYNE — A 32-year-old faces charges after a verbal argument escalated to an assault.
Provincial police officers in Hornepayne responded to a report of a domestic dispute near Front Street on Wednesday.
The investigation led to a suspect being charged with one count of spousal assault.
Police said the accused has been released from custody and is due to appear in a Hearst court later this month.
The identity of the accused was not publicly released by police due to the domestic nature of the incident.
