NIPIGON — OPP have charged the driver of a tractor-trailer involved in a collision on Highway 11 that sent two people to hospital.
The accident occurred Monday near Orient Bay, and involved a transport truck and an SUV.
Police said the occupants of the SUV sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the collision, which forced the highway to be closed between Nipigon and Beardmore for an extended period.
OPP have charged a 26-year-old resident of Calgary with careless driving and driving left-of-centre on a curve.
