ROSSPORT – Nipigon OPP has closed Highway 17 in Cavers Hill near distance marker 710 after a fatal motor vehicle collision that happened at around 5 a.m.
OPP Northwest Region has confirmed that one individual was pronounced deceased.
As of 5:07 p.m., alternating lanes are open in both directions while the investigation continues.
The OPP North West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team and OPP Collision Re-Constructionists are assisting in the investigation as it remains ongoing.
