Township of Hearst continues to celebrate its 100th anniversary

HEARST—The Township of Hearst is excited about the activities it has planned the first week of August in celebration of its 100^th year.

The community has organized events, to be held Wednesday, Aug. 3 -Saturday, Aug.6 , 2022 that reflects the heritage of Hearst.

On Wednesday, Aug. 3, the community will kick off its 100^th anniversary, at 2 p.m. with an official inauguration and celebrations. The Hearst golf club, men’s night tournament, is scheduled for that evening.

Additional family-based fun activities are being held at their Heritage place pavilion, with a free community BBQ. On Saturday, August 6, some of the highlights of their centennial celebrations include:

• Musical performances with Duo Karmese
• Their first annual Hearst hog dog challenge
• Their 13^th annual POW WOW

The township encourages everyone to come out and take part in these activities, as it proudly shares that, these are family-based activities you won’t want to miss.
