TERRACE BAY—The season of Fall not only signals the beginning of another school year but also the start of youth sports such as soccer.
Terrace Bay Community Centre is inviting all youth interested in playing soccer to register for it soon.
Their Minor Soccer for youth is scheduled to run from Sept.12 to Oct. 19, 2022 with registration deadline on September Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022.
Minor soccer is open to youth from JK to Gr. 8 and families can register their children at the Terrace Bay Community Centre Office.
The leagues will be offered for the following age groups if there are sufficient registrations.
- JUNIORS – JK & SK & Grade 1 -Tuesdays and Thursdays - 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- INTERMEDIATE – Grade 2-3-4 -Mondays and Wednesdays - 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- SENIORS - Grade 5-6-7-8 –Mondays and Wednesdays - 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
When registering your children, parents, guardians and caregivers are asked to check off the league your child will be playing in based on their current school grade. Children must be currently enrolled in the 2022/23 school year. The league is open to players born in 2009 to 2018.
