Southern Ontario motorist charged with stunt driving

Provincial police in Nipigon have nabbed yet another stunt driver in the recent slew of speeders in the region, stopping a Kitchener resident who was recorded going 142 km/h on the higwhay.

NIPIGON — Provincial police in Nipigon have nabbed yet another stunt driver in the recent slew of speeders in the region. 

On Sunday morning around 11 am, Ontario Provincial Police were using their radar to observe drivers' speeds and logged a vehicle travelling 142 kilometres per hour in a 90 zone on Highway 11/17. 

A 37-year-old from Kitchener has been charged with stunt driving and had his licence suspended for 30 days and the vehicle impounded for two weeks. The accused also has a court date scheduled for later in the year.
