WAWA — Police have laid multiple charges after responding to a weekend domestic dispute.
Provincial police officers were called to reports of a disturbance at an address on Klondike Street in Wawa on Sunday afternoon.
The investigation led to a 46-year-old from Wawa being charged with spousal assault, spousal assault causing bodily harm, and sexual assault.
The accused has been released from custody and is due to appear in a Wawa court in August.
Police said the name of the accused is not being publicly released due to the domestic nature of the incident.
