BEARDMORE, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police say they've closed a section of Highway 11, near Beardmore, after a serious motor vehicle collision.
The incident, which took place just before 5 p.m. on Thursday, occurred about 13 kilometres south of the Northern Ontario community. Highway 11 is closed at the junction with Highway 11/17 at Nipigon.
Police have not said how long they expect the highway to remain closed, and will update the public as the investigation unfolds. OPP, at this time, have not indicated the nature of any injuries that may have occurred.
