RED ROCK – The Red Pebbles Café, Red Rock’s only restaurant, announced they had to close until further notice earlier this week due to a drainage problem.

Mayor Darquise Robinson told to SNNewswatch affiliate CFNO that “unfortunately, Rock Pebbles Cafe is having some drainage issues. Obviously, that’s against policy and quality with the health unit.”

Robinson explains that a mechanical contractor from Thunder Bay is working on getting the restaurant up and ready, but it’s going to take a little more time.

“We are hoping that in the next week she’ll be back up and running and serving the residents of the township,” said Robinson.

The Red Pebble Café is located in the town’s recreation centre.
