THUNDER BAY — The People's Party of Canada has nominated its candidate for the federal election in the riding of Thunder Bay–Superior North.
This is Amos Bradley's first venture into politics.
He has lived in Thunder Bay since 2020, where he works as a delivery driver for a wholesale food company.
Bradley was born and raised in New Brunswick, lived in Alberta as a teen, and was a contractor for many years in the music industry in Calgary.
The single parent of one child recently founded an agency specializing in creative sales writing and marketing content for entrepreneurs.
According to his published profile, he believes he has been called to serve his region to defend the inherent rights to health, wealth, faith and sovereignty.
He said he stands "for strong families, strong neighbourhoods and strong businesses supported by a small, efficient government."
The current election campaign is only five weeks long, prompting Bradley to say "It would be nice if we had a little bit more time...but we'll work with it."
In the 2021 federal election, the PPC candidate in Thunder Bay-Superior North finished fourth, with 2,465 votes.
Bradley is running against Liberal incumbent Patty Hajdu, Conservative Bob Herman and the NDP's Joy Wakefield.
