MARATHON — It was a call to police that got a drunk driver off the road east of Marathon.

After receiving a complaint Saturday evening, provincial police spotted a vehicle driving erratically near Neys Provincial Park.

Once the vehicle was pulled over, officers investigated and determined the 33-year-old Pic River First Nation man was impaired by alcohol.

The accused was arrested and faces four charges, including having open liquor in the vehicle.

After being released from custody, the accused has a future court date in October.
