SCHREIBER — Schreiber Public School was closed on Friday as police investigated an incident nearby.
According to police, there was no danger to the public and the situation has since been resolved.
The school posted a notice to social media explaining that the decision to close the school was "made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff."
The school is expected to reopen normally on Monday.
No further information about the investigation has been released at this time.
