GREENSTONE — A 24 year-old Beardmore man is facing a number of charges for impaired driving and drug possession after being picked up in Greenstone over the weekend.
According to a media release from Ontario Provincial Police, officers were called around 8:30 a.m. on March 1 over reports of a vehicle in a snowbank along Highway 11 near Tractor Tire Road.
Police said the driver was impaired by drugs.
The man has been charged with impaired driving, possession of methamphetamine and driving with cannabis readily available.
Police released the accused from custody, OPP said, and he has an April 17 court date.
