MANITOUWADGE — The Manitouwadge Moonight Madness event is ready to kick holiday shopping into gear.
Over a dozen stores will be participating in this festive annual event, happening on Friday between 5 and 9 p.m. Almost every retail outlet in the village square will be participating, and more bargains can be found in various locations around town. Generous sales, discounts, scratch tickets, a ‘Wheel of Savings,’ and other fun contests will be offered in the various stores.
Manitouwadge volunteer firefighters will also be hosting a big bonfire at the Hallmark Square parking lot.
A draw will be held, featuring a grand prize gift basket filled with gift certificates, clothing, tools, Christmas decorations and more, all donated by local businesses. A Passport to Win can be picked up from Melanie’s YIG. Purchases made at the participating stores will earn passport stamps, with entries turned in at the bonfire before 9. The draw will take place a short time later.
Only one stamp on the passport is needed to enter the draw, but the township would like to encourage folks to support our local businesses and help to keep the community financially strong.
Participating stores include: Audrey’s restaurant, The Bargain! Shop, Best Friends Bakery, Bitz n’ Bobz, The Cozy Corner gift shop, The Diner, Home Hardware, Melanies YIG, Moosetrax, Napa, Nature Obsessed, Northern Sprinkles Pink Zebra, Threads, 2 Doors Down, and Studio 614.
