MARATHON -- Superior North Catholic District School Board can boast about students from Holy Saviour elementary school having their own book authors.

Mr. Taraborrelli’s Grade 5 and 6 students recently completed the writing of their own books on the topic of their choice. Under his guidance, and through their learning process, these “Holy Saviour Huskies” worked on, wrote and published copies of their books.

Copies will be available to borrow and read from their own school library. In addition to the content of the book, the students demonstrated what the school described as, “exceptional work implementing text features that are captivating and serve to highlight and communicate important information for the reader.

Those features are commonly identified as specific curriculum objectives when engaging in a writing activity such as this one.

Congratulations go out to these talented writers and recently proclaimed authors.
