Lotto Max ticket worth $70 million sold in Northern Ontario

OLG says the winning ticket was purchased in the Timiskaming and Cochrane area.

TORONTO – The winning ticket for Tuesday night’s $70-million Lotto Max draw was sold in Northern Ontario.

According to a release issued on Wednesday morning by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, the winning ticket was sold in the Timiskaming and Cochrane area.

It was the fifth straight Lotto Max jackpot won in Ontario.

Million-dollar Maxmillion prizes were sold in Peterborough, Ottawa, Mississauga and Toronto, while two more million-dollar prizes were sold on OLG.ca.

An Encore ticket worth $1 million was sold in Unionville, Ont., with $100,000 Encore tickets being sold in Kingston and Ottawa.

Friday’s draw will be $40 million.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were 02-11-12-21-24-38-39. The bonus number was 33. Check www.olg.ca to confirm the numbers.
