Live from the Rock Folk Festival lineup unveiled

Three-day event scheduled for Red Rock, starting on Aug. 8. Tickets go on sale starting on Tuesday.

THUNDER BAY – The lineup is in for the Live from the Rock Folk Festival.

Organizers of the three-day event, scheduled from Aug. 8 to Aug. 10 at Pull-a-Log Park in Red Rock, on Monday announced 21 artists who will play this year’s festival.

Andrina Turenne, who was formerly a member of the Juno Award-winning band Chic Garmine, King Cardiac and Kelly Bado, who has won praise from the likes of Beatles legend Paul McCartney, are among the acts that will take to the stage later this summer.

Adam Crossman, Bobby Dove, David Essig, Deacon Creek, El Ceibo, Honeypaw, Jack Pine, Jessica Pearson and the East Wind, Jing Xia, Kate Weeks, Leah Holtam, Madeleine Roger, Miranda Currie, OK Naledi, Pintail, Smalltown Bad, Stu McLean and Nick Warren, and The Vaudevillian round out the lineup.

Weekend passes will be sold through Showpass, starting on Tuesday, with early-bird pricing in effect until April 30.

Advance pricing begins on May 1 and lasts through June 30 and regular pricing will be put in place on July 1.
