MARATHON—The Marathon Family Health Team, (MFHT) and the North of Superior Healthcare Group, (NSHG) have declared that the COVID-19 facility wide outbreak at the Wilson Memorial general Hospital over.
This was officially announced Sept. 23, 2022 by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.
As a result, visitation has now resumed allowing four Essential Care Partners (ECP’s) per patient with two visiting at one time. ECP’s designated by the patient and family are still required to complete a screening form located at the main entrance of the hospital.
Anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 or feeling unwell are asked to refrain from visiting patients in the hospital.
