Home Hardware welcomes new building centre in Longlac

Both Joyce Frenette and Rick Michaud worked in the home improvement industry for decades before becoming independent dealer-owners

LONGLAC – Home Hardware Stores Limited has announced the opening of the new Barino Construction Home Hardware Building Centre. 

New dealer-owners Joyce and Daniel Frenette and Rick and Kathryn Michaud say they look forward to providing their customers with excellent service and expert advice. 

“All four of us have lived in Longlac for our entire lives, so we truly understand the needs of this community,” said Rick Michaud. “We are excited to join such a strong Canadian brand that is focused on providing customers with quality products and outstanding service.” 

Both Joyce and Rick worked in the home improvement industry for decades before becoming independent dealer-owners and say they are excited to serve the community. 

“I feel honoured to lend a hand in helping customers bring their projects to life,” said Joyce. “Meeting new customers and seeing our regular friendly faces on a daily basis is so rewarding… It is thanks to them that we are able to do what we do.” 

Barino Construction Home Hardware Building Centre is 11,500 square feet, currently has over 20 employees and offers a variety of services such as delivery, installations, renovations, estimates, tool rental, glass repair, screen repair, concrete mixing, and key cutting.  

“I would like to extend a warm welcome to new Dealer-Owners Joyce, Daniel, Rick and Kathryn,” said Dale MacPherson, senior director of store operations and business development, Home Hardware Stores Limited. “We are thrilled to have them join the Home banner and are looking forward to working with them to serve the Longlac community."
