Nipigon – Scores of residents from Nipigon and the surrounding area flocked to the heart of the town Friday evening to bask in the warmth of a cherished holiday tradition - the annual CP Rail Holiday train.
This beloved winter staple has been a source of joy for families throughout the region for many years, with each household cherishing fond memories of sipping hot chocolate while being entertained by the show.
The performance started at 5:45 p.m. and went on for thirty minutes, with residents relishing in numerous holiday hits and taking full advantage of the splendid lights, which provided the perfect backdrop for family photo opportunities.
Following its stop in Nipigon, the Holiday train continued its journey, making its next stop in the city of Thunder Bay.
The residents of Nipigon, however, were left with a heartwarming experience that they will undoubtedly cherish for years to come.
