UPDATE: Highway 11 reopens after collision

Crash occurred just before 5 a.m. on Friday, about 35 kilometres north of Nipigon.

EAST McKIRDY – A collision north of Nipigon closed Highway 11 in both directions for several hours on Friday morning, but the highway has since reopened to traffic.

According to Ontario 511, the closure was just north of East McCkirdy, about 35 kilometres north of Nipigon.

Two tractor trailers were jackknifed on the road, blocking traffic. 

The incident occurred just before 5 a.m. on Friday.
