MARATHON — Ontario Provincial Police in Marathon have charged a 20-year-old man with stunt driving after they were called about a driver reportedly doing donuts in a local parking lot.

In a media release issued on Monday, OPP said they were called to a parking lot in the area of Jackson Crescent on Jan. 24 shortly after noon.

The driver, who police said is from Marathon, was subsequently charged under the Highway Traffic Act with stunt driving.

Police said the accused received a 30-day driving suspension and a two-week vehicle impoundment. He will also appear in court at a future date.
