WAWA — A 59-year-old faces multiple charges, including sexual assault, after police responded to a disturbance last weekend.
Provincial police responded to a domestic dispute on Highway 101 near Wawa on Sunday afternoon.
The investigation led to a 59-year-old from Wawa being charged with sexual assault, harassing communications, domestic mischief and breach of recognizance.
The accused has been released from custody and is due to appear in a Wawa court next month.
Police did not release the identity of the accused to protect the identity of the victim due to the domestic nature of the incident.
