MARATHON – The Marathon OPP has closed Highway 17 in both directions near Dead Horse Road.
According to the OPP, the highway is fully blocked due to a two-vehicle collision involving two passenger vehicles on Highway 17 approximately 40 kilometres east of Marathon.
Traffic controls are in place as officers with the Marathon OPP Detachment, the Marathon Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services respond to the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time; however, there were no serious injuries reported to police.
