A collision has caused the closure of Highway 527 in both directions between tertiary road 811, around 100 kilometres north of Thunder Bay, and Gull Bay Lodge Road, in the Armstrong area.
The incident involved a head-on collision between a transport truck and a passenger vehicle, according to Superior North EMS, which had paramedics on scene.
A representative for the agency could not immediately confirm the nature of injuries suffered in the collision.
The collision was reported on Ontario 511 just shortly before noon on Tuesday.
Traffic control is in place on Highway 527, according to the provincial traffic service.
