Their Canadian sourced, 100 per cent high-grown Arabica premium grade coffees are available in many pre-infused flavours. They offer a variety of whimsically named herbal teas (Snifflefritz, Calm Waters and Coughy!) for health and enjoyment. Other beverages, such as hot chocolate, Dairy Dreams (a wonderfully flavoured milk concoction), and smoothies are also available. Choose a yummy treat to go along with your beverage; local hand-made chocolates and other delights are available in the cooler. Fido doesn’t get left out of the flavourful fun, either! Quality dog food, treats and pet supplies can be found here at reasonable prices.
Herbs, spices and salts are the consumable highlights of the store. Melissa Gionet, the proprietor of Bitz & Bobz, sources her herbs from a wholesale supplier in Toronto. She and her staff are knowledgeable in the use and benefits of each herb, and can steer you in the right direction towards wellness. These herbs, herb blends, and spices are available in predetermined quantities, or can be purchased by the gram.
Although on a COVID hiatus for now, monthly Tipz and Bitz herbal workshops are offered at a nominal cost. The workshop leader will discuss the uses and applications of the herb of the month, and then participants will get some hands-on experience, using the featured herb to make a sample product to take home. Of course, a coffee or tea is included!
