Job Summary
The General Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all departments, including inventory, logistics, customer service, and staff management. This role is critical in maintaining our commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. If you have experience in operations and leadership—especially in the lumber or building supply industry—we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and optimize daily operations, including inventory control, purchasing, and logistics.
• Supervise and support staff to ensure excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to maintain strong relationships and secure competitive pricing.
• Oversee safety protocols, compliance, and risk management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and sales.
• Assist in hiring and training employees.
• Ensure the highest levels of product quality and service consistency.

Qualifications & Skills
• 10+ years of operations or management experience in the lumber, building materials, or related industry preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment would be considered an asset.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with inventory management systems and logistics coordination.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
