POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Retail Sports Operations Student will be responsible for monitoring the sports operations products including sports information, schedule validation, event activity, and product documentation and communication.  Strict adherence to AGCO Standards and Internal Audit compliance as well as strong attention to detail are key performance indicators. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

  • Schedule validation – confirm game schedules and publications on Proline website and app to ensure absolute accuracy. 
  • Activity monitoring – monitor and evaluate daily wagering activity to expectation; identify and notify potential liability risk. 
  • Sports information – verify game schedules, time changes, postponements, and cancellations; monitor same day, overnight and advance line movement; follow headlines, injuries, and urgent reports; track game scores. 
  • Product communication – notify Senior Sports Analysts of significant sports information irregularity. 
  • Issues management – provide support and input on issues regarding product, technical, and consumer escalations. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

  • Working towards a university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Actuarial Science, or related field 
  • A broad knowledge of professional sports and the sports betting industry 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Power Point 
  • Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to be a team player 
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as well as strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent organizational skills, sound judgement and decision-making skills 
  • Flexibility to work an 8-hour flexible shift schedule (Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am – 8pm)
