Family and police have reported being concerned for his well-being.

Police have brought out a drone to assist in the search, alongside the Search and Rescue Team and the Rural Community Response Unit.

They “have been and continue to extensively search the Walden, Lively, Naughton and Whitefish areas, however, there have not been any confirmed sightings of Michael or the vehicle,” according to their latest media release, issued at 4:33 p.m. on Monday.

GSPS also note that Vagnini is believed to have been driving his truck at the time he went missing and was “likely mobile for quite some time before the incident was reported to police.”

In a recent Facebook message thanking people for their help in trying to locate Vagnini, his partner, Janie Galipeau, noted that Vagnini does not have his cell phone with him.
