ARMSTRONG — A collision that claimed one person's life two years ago on Highway 527 has now resulted in a Criminal Code charge against a Thunder Bay man.
Ontario Provincial Police charged 26-year-old Mason James Young with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
The fatality occurred after a two-vehicle collision on Aug. 8, 2023 between Highway 811 and the Black Sturgeon Road.
OPP said a 42-year-old Armstrong man driving a passenger vehicle died in a collision with a tractor-trailer.
The charge has yet to be tested in court.
