A 29-year-old from Nipigon faces an impaired driving charge after provincial police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle.
OPP officers in Nipigon received the complaint on the morning of Dec. 1 about the vehicle in the area of Highway 11/17 near Lofty Davies Road.
During the investigation, officers determined the driver was under the influence of drugs.
As a result, Nipigon OPP has arrested and charged a 29-year-old with impaired driving.
The driver has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before in court in January 2024.
