NAKINA—Today is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day and the students at Nakina Public School wanted to show their bus driver how much she is appreciated.
The school presented Michelle Ferraro with a certificate of appreciation. Students and staff expressed their gratitude when presenting this certificate by stating that, “We appreciate your dedication to our student travelers!”
Her certificate was also signed by students who take her school bus and indicated their thanks for, “All you do for the safety and well-being of your student travellers. We like how you roll!”
Today, October 19, is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day and is being recognized by each of the schools across the region as well as Superior Catholic District School Board and Superior-Greenstone District School Board.
