MARATHON – Up to 20 centimetres of snow is expected to fall on communities north of Lake Superior.
Environment Canada on Monday issued a snowfall warning for Marathon, Schreiber, Nipigon and other communities, with peak snowfall delivering between two to four centimetres an hour. Snow is expected to continue throughout the day and into the evening.
A weather advisory has been issued for Beardmore, Jellicoe and Macdiarmid, which could bring up to 15 centimetres of snow.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution during the storm.
